Personal

As promised, I'm alive again I have a thing or 2 to tell.

Currently, Tsp, aka Sahadchai is now back in sydney. He was here for almost 2 weeks n totally slacking like nobody's business till the grueling semester commence again next monday. The reason for such extensive n prematured arrival was that he needed to visit thai consulate in sydney so that they can issues documents for my army postpone problem. Yep, the consulate must approved that he is a uni student here (n kicking asses) so he can move his army days further back.

Everything was taken cared of yes, only 1 hiccup abt the paper he was to provide but it's done anyway now.

He had paid the school fees for T1 (the bloody 13000 australian dollars (thank god the currency dropped so much)), get the extra cash for the 3 months term deposit (also thank god the commonwealth bank didnt crash) and had his school books bought. Most of his frens are not back yet so much of his time were spent on watching dvds, downloading movies, music, games and playing the exciting "new game" the witcher as his brand new laptop was able to do so (a whooping 2.4 ghz, 2gb ddr3, 1.279 gb nvidia geforce 9600 n 16 inch screen).

He watched the Oscar and so under the influence watched Vicky, Christina, Barcelona and really think that Cruz was a very hot n skillful lady (especially the photograph part). He's going to watch Milk at cinema tmr with some of his pals.

Flashbacks

24th Dec 2008

Christmas eve, this is the first and probably the only time I would spend this joyous day in a temple. My feeling, at the moment, is mixed. A little apprehensive and abit worried of the task lying ahead for the coming 6 weeks and the first night might prove to be the hardest. I wish I know everything, what to do, how to do it well n most importantly, to get along with people and monks here. Hmm, no use worrying, just go with the flow might come no?

My head without hair is cooling aye.

9.20 pm

Pra arjan Hung taught me the first 2 parts of the chapter I was to recite on the ordinationation day. Nothing was easy but after an hour of practise I was getting a hang of it. I swept the temple grounds at 3.30pm

As foreseen, I still have a hard time enduring the pain when kneeling with all the weights on my 2 feet, especially the right one which only have 2 toes to support it. Pappiap postition wasn't very comforting either coz for only short time like 5 min I already felt the ache up till my stomach muscle. In the end I resorted to the normal cross leg till the 1 hr night praying was done.

I need more practice on these soon.
